The Workshop is only interested in writers who are previously unpublished. If you are an undergraduate or graduate student, or currently enrolled in a formal workshop, and would like to be involved with a ground-breaking publication that caters specifically to you, then please send us your work, provided it falls into the following 4 categories:
FICTION (short story, quick fiction, or novel excerpt)
ESSAY
POETRY
ARTWORK
Please send your sample to the above address and allow a three-week response period. Send your work as a Microsoft Word attachment, and indicate fiction, essay, poetry, or artwork in the subject of the email. (Note: if you are submitting artwork, please submit the artwork as JPEGs or TIFFs at 300dpi or higher, along with a short description of your work). Place your name, age, contact info, and university or workshop name/location in the message box. We will respond to you whether or not you are chosen for our first issue. We can only accept a certain number of submissions for the first issue, but if we particularly like your work, we may ask to publish your work in a subsequent issue.
